About me

I am bipedal primates belonging to the mammalian species Homo sapiens (Human being as explained in wikipedia). Just kidding I don’t want to give these scientific jargons. Well I am Vikas male living in Mumbai – India. I lived in Thane suburb part of Mumbai as every mumbaikar called it. I was living here for last 18 years. Since my father was in army Majority of my life I have spend in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Belgaum & finally in Thane. I have completed my schooling from various school. If i calculate the no of years and schools I have changed it comes out to 6 schools. Is that so frustrating you change yours school so often make friends and then leave them? Finally my father shifted to thane and I completed my schooling in Mumbai.

Higher Education

College life- A dream come true. I was in VJTI. People used to say whow !!!!!!!!. It is great college n matuga surrounded by greenery. I was in textile department doing my LTM. College used to start by 9am so I have to rush by 7 am in the morning. It was great fun in canteen, Corridor & our own Textile hall where we used to play badminton. to some of them in china tooooo. I though I will not continue my studies will do Job got selected in campus interview. Done Diploma now what so though of doing degree.

Mumbai Marathon 2008

I like reading books. I don't have any restriction on reading book. I like any topic ranging from comedy, drama, romance, suspense and business. I am bookholic. I read whenever i travel. So best thing i do is i just buy magazine from stall....

I love traveling. I can seat for entire day in office seating on laptop and replying emails. The best thing which i love in my profession is travel. You visit various places and explore the things.I like meeting people so the nest part of it is you make friends. The simple definition is " A friend in need is friend indeed ” I hope every body agree with it. I have very big friend circle. They are always there in your life when you are happy or sad.

Professional studies

I landed at Ichalkaranji. The place is very close to Kolhapur and called Manchester of India for its textiles business !!!. I remmber I used to drink mineral water for initial 4-5 days. The water was very hard (lots of unnecessary minerals – salts). Later though beta you have to spend 3 years here so be cool and start accepting environment. It was very good experience living in hostel. You become discipline. My Engineering College it’s whole India with people from Kashmir to kanya kumari & from Mumbai to Mizoram. It was great fun for people from north who used to love aloo ka paratha and palak ki sabzi and there are people from south who love curd rice. Oh how can I forget my Bengali friend who love fish!!. I used to visit mumbai every month whenver gets time. I addicted to net surfing got hooked ICQ and mirc to fool my lab assistance as these is not internet for him. If I open internet explorer it is net surfing for him. hahaha

Management Studies

At last completed my degree no what . I selected in reid and taylor in mysor but donot want to go there so started job in sales and marketing mumbai. Done 3 years job fed up so though let us complete MBA. Given entrance short listed and entered in Somaiya. Its great college (mother of all college). It is group of colleges from art / commerce / science / engineering / medical / management and what not !!!! It is masti time with case studies / presentation and internet surfing all the time.
